Why on Earth Start a Business in a Recession - Not!

This course is not about management speak and best practice for business sales, it is rather a Practical hands  on a guide to being a recession beating new or developing business based on the tutor’s personal experience of buying and selling over 300 companies in the last 25 years.

So this may not be your ideal choice of economic period to start a new company but some things are outside our control and by reason of desire or necessity we are where we are.

This course is not about management speak and best practice for business sales, it is rather a Practical hands  on a guide to being a recession beating new or developing business based on the tutor’s personal experience of buying and selling over 300 companies in the last 25 years.  The delegates will leave with a recipe book full of fool-proof formulae not only for novices but also for the more experienced business person.

Delegates will also have access to a “Cooks Tip list” for when the inevitable goes wrong, should it be your “sunk soufflé” AKA a disastrous product launch to a “unhappy dinner guest” AKA an investor crisis of confidence.

Target Audience
New Entrepreneurs and jaded ones who want to learn from an experienced business person – what works and what doesn’t.

Take Aways
- A recipe book to produce for your own business, telling you how to and importantly how not to make the perfect soufflé (business).

- A list of critical information and importantly where to get this, including cash flow, how to access cash and keep it, people and how to manage them, markets and how to infiltrate them.

- Michelin proof your business and how to get a Star or more by using the tutor’s own experience and that of the other delegates.  Everyone involved will go away knowing what is needed in a truly 1st class business and how to secure it.
