My client, a widow who had been left the business she had never worked in following her husbands sudden and unexpected death at barely 50, was deperate to sell the business which, by her own admission, she did not understand and had no desire to run.

The trouble was, as is so often the case, her husband had been very fundamental in the business, his skills not really replicated anywhere and his management style left the business with no clear successor.
