Grooming for Sale

Having just spent 6 months looking for a flat in London. I have seen sights I would in all honesty prefer to not see again. Now bearing in mind I am a simple Yorkshire girl and this was to be my pied a tere, my weekend hideaway, I was prepared to pay over the odds for my little pad but still did think that £500k to £750k was a reasonable budget for a 2 bed apartment. For goodness sake that’s half to three quarters of a million pounds – a lot, lot of money!!

So why does someone selling a property in what is undoubtedly buyers market, think that it will look more appealing to the buyer if:- a) there is a sink full of unwashed breakfast pots moulding away b) an all pervading smell of cat littler c) an unmade bed d) an unkempt littered garden and believe me I use the word garden with caution here!)
