Anchor Magnets attracts dealmaker

Sheffield manufacturer Anchor Magnets has appointed dealmaker Jo Haigh as a non-executive director. Haigh specialises in owner-managed businesses and has bought and sold more than 300 companies. She is an entrepreneur and author who heads the corporate finance division at Sheffield and London-based accountancy and financial management firm MGR. Anchor, whose turnover exceeds £4m and which employs more than 40 staff at its 22,000 sq ft facility in east Sheffield, provides bespoke magnetic products to industries in Europe and Scandinavia. It is also the only organisation in Europe to recycle flexible magnets.
